After seeing Return Of The Joker, i finally realise the true significance of the "Over the edge" episode. Even though Barbara doesn't really die and was just having a nightmare, i think it was really a grim foreshadowing of terrible events that would ruin the Bat family and expose Batman's secrets to his enemies, which ultimately did happen in Return of the Joker
